This study identifies the main problems that hinder the planning of a vocational training curricula that can actively contribute to the development of the economic sectors analyzed. It suggests lines of action on public policies that can contribute to solve these problems and to lay the foundations for effectively identifying the human capital qualification needed in the economic sectors of the metropolitan region of Barcelona.
