The fifteenth edition of the collection “Emerging Economic Sectors and Vocational Educational Training in the RMB” is dedicated to the gastronomy sector. The aim of the publication is to assess the alignment of vocational training offerings with the transformations and trends in the main occupations of this sector. Based on the analysis of the training content of the vocational education and training (VET) offerings related to gastronomy and the professional competencies required in the labor market, a series of action lines are proposed to adapt and improve the vocational training system’s response to the sector’s needs.
