The Youth Guarantee is an initiative of the European Social Fund that aims to facilitate young people’s access to the labor market. It is focused on all young people not employed or integrated in education and training programs.
In its international section, the program offers young people under 30 the possibility of acquiring professional and personal experience and improving their foreign language skills through internships in companies in several European countries.
BCN Vocational Education and Training Foundation manages two international mobility projects within the Youth Guarantee program:
TLN MOBILICAT
The purpose of TLN MOBILITY is to promote quality job placement of graduates in vocational training through personalized counseling, support and hands-on training in different cities of the VET Network.
Participants complete 2 months of professional internships at a company in Espoo (Finland), Munich (Germany) or Rome (Italy). Previously, they receive language training, intercultural preparation sessions and career guidance.
SINGULAR
The purpose of SINGULAR project is to promote quality job placement for graduates in vocational training through personalized counseling, support and hands-on training in Germany.
Participants complete 2 months of professional internship in a company in Germany. Previously, they receive linguistic training equivalent to B1 level in addition to intercultural preparation sessions and professional guidance.
Finally, participants have the possibility of signing up for a one-year training contract with the company where they have completed their internships and obtain a VET degree in Germany.
