On Friday, January 24, 2025, we participated in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Professional Life Project (ProVP), an educational and professional guidance project, promoted by Barcelona Activa, of which the BCN Vocational Training Foundation is a partner together with the Barcelona Education Consortium and the Femcat Business Association.
The celebration, under the slogan “Awake your talent”, was held in the Tinglados de la Barceloneta and was attended by the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, and the Councilor for Economic Promotion and Labor and president of Barcelona Activa, Raquel Gil,
The event was attended by 400 students from educational centers that have participated in the ProVP, accompanied by teachers and the collaborating entities of the project and representatives of the field of education.
Throughout these 20 years, the program has provided innovative academic and professional guidance tools and methodologies to the centers so that they can accompany their students in a key phase of their lives. More than 13,000 activities have been carried out such as monographs, workshops or visits to companies and more than 300,000 secondary and vocational training students have participated.
